The Floating Arrangement

We haven’t had flower arrangement pictures for a bit and these are an interesting few to end that drought. M. took these at Chanticleer.

Large ceramic bowls are layered with varied colors and shapes of leaves and flowers at submerged to above-surface  depths to give a three dimensional underwater view from above while creating interesting designs.

A few shown repeat certain of the ingredients: peonies and ferns, for example float directly on the water. The third component, sits atop the floating layer: tiny flowers or leaves. One can construct a mandala sort of effect! What plant materials do you recognize?
