“On Monday this week I took Bob for doctor’s appointment at Hopkins in Baltimore. On the way home we did a slight detour and passed Sherwood Gardens. I have been on several previous occasion but I usually miss the peak flowering season. or I go too early and everything is green or the crowds are so great that we have to park a long way from the park. On Monday it was cool ( 50) but there were no crowds and I could park on one of the roads adjacent to the park. The sun was shining and the bulbs were at their peak. The brilliant blocks of color did much to alleviate my Cabin Fever.”
