Is Your Garden Ready for Bed?

From spring to summer you have labored lovingly in your garden. Now it’s time to put it to bed for the winter. The tasks are many:
enrich the soil, deadhead flowers (leave a few for the birds), trim orcut down plants, and divide some perennials. The list goes on.
Don’t despair! Master Gardeners and other local gardeners will share their tips for tucking a garden into bed at a free Chat ‘n Chew
Thursday, Oct. 27, at 7 PM at the Eldersburg Library. Information also will be provided about native plants that prefer to be planted at this time of year. Come share your gardening successes and conundrums!
Light refreshments will be served.
This event is free and open to the public. No prior registration is needed. The event is hosted by the Carroll County Master Gardeners o fthe University of Maryland Extension.
