St. Paul’s Steeple at sunrise
St. Paul’s steeple in a prominent feature in the view from my hillside house in Westminster and after the recent snowfall, I took a closeup. Never noticed the clock on the side before! Apparently, in 1893, the original steeple was destroyed by a tornado! This particular church is one of two that bracket Belgrove Square, which has its own interesting history. It has a very pleasant garden maintained by the Women’s Club, pathways and a fountain in the center.
