On our regular meeting date, December 7, the Carroll Garden Club met at 9:30 A.M. to decorate the Historical House for Christmas.
There were fourteen who ate lunch–Miss Lillian Shipley served very delicious lemon pie for dessert.
At two o’clock an informal business meeting was held–in the absence of the President, Mrs. R.L Sebastian and the Vice President, Mrs. Edgar Barnes, the recording secretary, Mrs. Myers Englar conducted the meeting.
Announcement was made of the Dickeyville Christmas Tour December 20th 2:00 to 6:00 P.M.
Mrs Dowell, Membership Chairman, read the resignations of Mrs. Edwin Englar and Mrs. Charles Hesson; these resignations were accepted by the club with regret.
Hostesses for the Historical House were named.

Mrs. Earle Buckey presented new club programs for 1956 to the members.
