Back in the early Spring, I received a call from a Carroll County Times reporter asking about “LIving Fences”. Our Connie Hoge had given her my name and after talking to Michel for about an hour covering the tendency for privacy fences these days and the wide aspects of hedging both here and in the UK, I gave her Carmen’s name, recalling Carmen had a wonderful 50’s border hedge of spirea.
I never saw the article, but Carmen clipped and saved it so that we may share our contribution to the club. And now she can have the original back. Thanks, Carmen!
The page was wider that my scanner, so I had to do some fancy merging in Preview–thus the seam. Clicking enlarges it a bit more (size restrictions).
