June was a spectacular month for roses at Meadowbrook. Seldom is there a long blooming period where blackspot does not plague the foliage, but this year was a winner. The following are some recent pictures of a few roses–mostly Old Garden Roses (OGR) and a trouble free climber growing at Meadowbrook.
- Alba roses are very tolerant of part sun
- Another Alba of deeper pink
- Alba rose-Great Maiden’s Blush
- Amethyst-a climber or sprawler
- Closeup of Amethyst–bloom changes color as it ages
