West End Place Wakes Up

Nancy Heiberg called on her troops to muster at our long term project garden site, West End Place where we also have a group that does crafting with the residents.  We hadn’t been since November, so the grounds were leaf covered and in need of TLC.

Julia, Brenda, Nancy and Sue arrived with rakes, digging knives, pruners and shovels to start work. Most of what we accomplished was raking and bagging up leafy material in the 2 plus hours we were there.

We have found that Carroll Garden Club ladies who work together develop deeper friendships than is possible with only attending meetings. So we encourage committee activities on the part of all members.
