Upon reading that we’d be visiting there for our December program, one of our newer members asked, “What’s Longwood?” Well, for anyone who does not yet know, it is one of the premier gardens in the Mid-Atlantic to visit. Our garden club VP, Marjorie, just so happened to be “in the neighborhood” and took these photos there in October. She explained, “It was not a day for outside walks, so we spent 1 1/2 hours in the greenhouses.” There is an incredible amount to see and Marjorie took just a few photos to share to whet our appetites!
